Our History: We were originally called, “The Majority League” and was the community outreach and entertainment department for the Downtown Cultural Arts Center in downtown Baltimore City. Raising funds with events to facilitate community enrichment programs. We brought in entertainers from all around the country to perform and to help break the negative monotony that our communities faced. Also our talents proceeded us, numerous members ended up on tour with various top name comedians ans motivational speakers. We are also the co-founders of The Dolfield Consolidated Trust, a community based organization who was granted $300,000.00 by The Baltimore City Impact Race Track Fund. These funds are awarded to The Dolfield Consolidated Trust every year for the next 20 years to redevelop and sustain the up keep and overall beautification of the Dolfield Business District in the Ashburton Community. Callaway Elementary recieved $100,00.00 bringing the school into the 21st century with technology and enrichment programs as well as $20,000.00 that went to The Boys & Girls Club for after school programs.

How we got started!

Our History…

Small to the Big Stage

We were also invited to be apart of a few city and state boards centered around community engagement and redeveloopment. With all that we have learned throughout the years, we had to create our own non-profit “LWD Consolidated Trust CDC Inc.” to ensure that things are getting done properly. We have partnerships with Youth Works and The Foster Grandparent Program, two of the most reliable programs that we outsource candidates from to engage the community. The foster grandparents are hired to mentor and tutor the youth to greater academic achievements through our enrichment programs. The youth inturns teach the seniors about technology to help them stay connected and to lead a more informative lifestyle using the internet.

Community Love

At the beginning of the Corona Virus Pandemic no one wanter to interact with each other. Most of the Maryland Food Bank partnered food drive sites around the city shut down. We came up with a campaign to help struggling families called, “4th Monday’s”, “Pull Up, Fill Up, Pull Off.” People did not have to get out of their cars, they just popped their trunks and we loaded them up with food every month. It’s become such a success that three years later we are still running the temporary campaign the same way. Most times before the truck arrives there’s a line 2 blocks long waiting for fresh produce. With our Partnerships with “the Jewish Connection Network” we are able to feed the people with the bag lunches in some of the most violent, Drug & Crime infested neighborhoods in the city.
